We help leadership teams turn human biology into business advantage.
Johanna Wäänänen, Founder, CEO
I’m a former CEO, current entrepreneur, and a doctoral researcher on physiological stress contagion. I know what drives business performance — and what silently kills it. It’s not strategy. It is people executing it.
Business-minded. Human-centered. Science-backed.
I’ve spent my career driving growth, profitability, and real transformation in companies. I’ve led strategic change, navigated mergers and acquisitions, and seen firsthand how much leadership matters — not just through decisions, but through presence, influence, and the ability to role model under pressure.
What I’ve learned is this: strategies don’t fail because they’re wrong. They fail because humans can’t deliver them — not at the speed, clarity, or collaboration required. And that’s not a mindset problem. It’s a physiological one.
I’ve always been fascinated by human behavior: why we think, act, and feel the way we do? My journey with human behavior started with research of cognitive biases and self-awareness. But when I discovered the role of biology and nervous system regulation in behavior, it was like solving the puzzle I didn’t know I was trying to solve.
Today, I’m doing doctoral research on physiological stress contagion in organizations at Tampere University. I believe every business, every team, and every leader can radically improve performance by learning how the body drives behavior, and how to lead from a calm, clear, grounded state.
I care deeply about my clients and their success.
